오는 10월 28일부터 1주일간 미국 캘리포니아 샌디에고 Todd Gloria시장을 대표로 한 무역사절단 30여명이 한국과의 첨단산업 분야(바이오, 청정에너지, 반도체) 협력방안 모색을 위하여 한국을 방문합니다. 한국바이오협회에서는 이번 사절단 방한 기간 중 우리 바이오 기업인들과의 직접적인 네트워킹 기회를 마련하고자 하오니 사절단 참가기관을 확인하시어 관심있는 분들의 많은 신청 바랍니다.

San Diego Life Sciences: Networking Lunch

San Diego is California’s second largest city, and a powerhouse for biotech, medical device, wireless communications technology, aerospace, defense, cleantech, and more. The greater San Diego region—encompassing Imperial Valley and Baja California, Mexico—boasts abundant clean energy and cross-border manufacturing capabilities, lending to the region’s dynamic and globally competitive business environment.

On Tuesday, October 31, a trade delegation of 30 business, academic, and civic leaders, led by San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria and U.S. Congressman Scott Peters, will gather in Incheon, Korea for meetings with companies involved in biopharmaceutical innovation and biomanufacturing.

From 12:00-13:30, the San Diego delegation invites life sciences companies in the Incheon area to participate in a networking lunch to learn about San Diego’s life sciences ecosystem—ranked third in the U.S.—and current opportunities including UC San Diego Science Research Park.
